FLEXIBLE FAMILY FUNDING

The State of Vermont's Division of Disabilities and Aging Services allocates financial support to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to enhance their ability to live together. These funds are used at the discretion of the family for services and supports that benefit the individual and the family. Our office manager, Kelley Wright assists families with eligibility screening and assessment.

PATH PERSONAL CARE ASSESSMENTS

Laurie Brick, Case Manager, provides assessment services for families applying for Personal Care Services for their disabled child under age 21. Personal Care Services may include assistance with bathing, feeding, positioning, ongoing training programs to promote physical and/or cognitive functioning, etc. Personal care attendants are hired and supervised by the family applying for this service. Initial and periodic assessments of the need for these services can be completed by UVS.
